Hi, I’m Joel Wharton, owner of Wharton Carpet Cleaning. I started this business in 2020, two years after moving to the Phoenix area. After working in carpet cleaning for about 2 years, I saw a need for more attention to detail and better service. I decided to build a company where I could focus on doing things the right way—using a clear process and putting quality first.
I’ve now been in this industry for over 6 years. In that time, I’ve learned that great customer service starts with good communication. Before any job, I take time to explain what I’ll be doing and ask questions to understand exactly what you need. I believe in being upfront about pricing and making sure everything is fair from the start. While I’m in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I’d give my own. Before I leave, I always check in with you to make sure you're happy with the work.

Five Stars for a Heroic Carpet Cleaner After being completely catfished by an Airbnb listing that didn’t match reality at all, we worked with the property manager to fix at least one big issue: the carpets. They were in such terrible shape, it was like walking into a former kennel. The carpet cleaning company that came in deserves a full five stars. They truly worked wonders. They didn’t just clean the stains—they managed to treat the carpets so the place no longer smelled like a pet hotel. They also tackled a living room rug that had clearly seen about 50 pet accidents in its lifetime. The cleaner even called the manager and straight up told them, “You need to throw this rug away.” Then, without hesitation, he gloved up, rolled that filthy rug out, and hauled it off to the garbage. Huge props to him for going above and beyond—especially when he didn’t even want to touch the carpet initially! I feel like the carpets that he cleaned are now sanitary and it’s safe to walk on them. Another company had canceled on me the night before our scheduled cleaning. Wharton was able to get me on his schedule before I had to turn over my keys the next day to my rental owner. He cleaned the very old carpet in the rental house making it look better than when I had moved in. If you have pets, I highly recommend his services as he took care of an area I was concerned about. The carpet dried faster than I expected as well. He is very easy to work with and communicate with- my preferred method was calling to schedule and then texting to confirm details. He accepted many forms of payments. I ended up using Zelle.
